What is Phil’s ride?

This benefit run is to help a fellow veteran or immediate family member that is currently undergoing cancer treatment, in memory of Phil Hendrickson (SSgt. USAF) the brother of Terry “ Bull “ Henderson.

Phil was admitted to the hospital in March 2021 with internal bleeding. After receiving multiple blood transfusions, he had a tumor removed from his bladder, which was found to be cancerous, which spread to his prostate. Sadly, Phil lost his battle with cancer and our run in 2021 became a memorial run. 100% of the proceeds were given to Phil’s family to help cover funeral and medical expenses. Our chapter has elected to host a benefit motorcycle run each year, in honor of Phil, to raise money and help with the medical costs or any additional costs that would not be covered with insurance (such as hotel, food or gas). The event costs are covered by fundraiser activities and generous donations from the community partners.

We here at the Combat Veteran’s Motorcycle Association are dedicated to our motto

“ Vets Helping Vets ”
